The Riviera is part of the Bethesda ES, Westland MS, Bethesda Chevy Chase HS cluster.  In fact, BCC High School is almost directly across the street. There are approximately 2,000 students enrolled at B-CC. Students come from more than 55 countries.  Approximately 75 percent of students go on to attend a four-year college; 20 percent attend a two-year college.

B-CC has been participating in the International Baccalaureate Program since 1996. The program provides students a liberal arts, interdisciplinary education leading to a diploma recognized throughout the world. Instead of pursuing a full IB diploma, students at B-CC may choose to take one or more IB courses (except Theory of Knowledge) and obtain a certificate for the successful completion of the requirements for each course (more on B-CC’s IB program).

Sales History at the Riviera of Chevy Chase

From mid September 2019 to mid February 2020, there were five sales at the Riviera.  Sales ranged from $135,000 for a one bedroom one bath with 741 square feet to $250,000 for a two bedroom, one and a half bath unit with 1120 square feet. Two homes are on the market in February 2020.  One is a one bedroom one bath 710 square foot unit for $210,000 and a studio condo for $139,000 with 592 square feet.  In 2021, six properties sold at the Riviera from a 261 square foot condo which sold for $85,000 with a condo fee of $693.57 and a 465 square foot studio that sold for $145,000 in October 2021.  A one bedroom one bath condo with 710 square feet sold in September 2021 for $200,000 with a $783 condo fee.   A two bedroom two bath unit with 1149 square feet sold for $245,000 in June.  That unit had a $995 condo fee.
