Bethesda Court is a small community of townhouses built in 1985 near Montgomery Mall, I-270 and the Beltway. Each townhouse has three levels, three bedrooms and two baths on the upper level and a half bath on the first floor.

Why Choose Bethesda Court Townhomes

Not everyone wants to live in a high rise condo like Westlake Towers, or even a low rise condo like Spring Lake!  Instead, some people want to live in a townhouse with a front door and a back yard so you can have a grill and a garden.   If you want a friendly community surrounded by the green space of Cabin John Park but close to Montgomery Mall and an easy ride to downtown Bethesda, you should consider Bethesda Court!  If you want a sense of community you will love Bethesda Court, which is only 81 units. It seems very friendly here and you certainly will get to know your neighbors and make new friends.

Located close to the Beltway and I-270, this is the place to be for today’s commuter.  You are just two minutes from the entrance to the Beltway and 270 and from there you can go north to Frederick, south to Virginia, Dulles and Leesburg, and east to Baltimore, College Park and Prince Georges County.  Getting to Walter Reed Medical Center is a breeze and doesn’t even require getting on the highway! This is really a commuter’s dream.

You can find townhouses for sale or rent at the Bethesda Court (if there are any available today) as well as all the other condos available in the 20817 zip code on my website, www.bethesdahomesforsale.com. Bethesda Court is the place to be for access to transportation and shopping!

If you would like new construction, be sure to check that out here. There are newer townhomes on Fernwood that you might like.

What is Near Bethesda Court?

Bethesda Court is just a few blocks from Montgomery Mall (or Westfield Mall as it is now called.)  There are lots of shops and stores there like Nordstrom’s, Macy’s, Gap, Apple, Lego, and lots more.  The food options include Cheesecake Factory, Nordstrom Cafe and Frank Pepe, among others.

If you are still hungry, look no further than the restaurants at the Wildwood Shopping Center, like Oakville Grille, Le Pain Quotidienne, and Chop’t – and don’t forget the new Pike and Rose, just two miles away.  This blog would be too long if I included all the new shops and restaurants going in there.map of Bethesda Court

You can’t always eat out though and occasionally you need a grocery store!  The Giant at Democracy and Old Georgetown is there for staples (although it could certainly be updated!) and Balducci’s is across the street for all the gourmet items and wine you could ever want.

Enough about food! Bethesda Court is just at the edge of Cabin John Regional Park, one of Montgomery County’s biggest and best combinations of nature, sports and recreation. The park encompasses athletic fields, including the beautiful Shirley Povich Field; a full-service ice-skating rink; indoor and outdoor tennis courts; and many picnic areas, trails and camp sites. Kids of all ages can enjoy summer ball games and the miniature train that runs through the park. Many of the facilities are wheelchair accessible. From nature programs and hiking to playgrounds, sports and baseball – Cabin John has something for everyone
