Everything you need is nearby from grocery stores like the Whole Foods and Amazon to fine shops and stores like Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale, a popular restaurants like Clyde’s. Located on Park Avenue, 4620 N Park condominiums is one of the smaller condo buildings on the street. Parking is never a problem here with the parking garage and lots of spaces for the residents! Plus… You can leave your car in the garage for weeks on end because the Friendship Heights Metro is just a few blocks away and provides easy access to DC and the rest of the metro area

Sales History

In 2015, prices have ranged from $255,000 for a small one bedroom in the 05 tier to $740,000 for a 3 bedroom 3 bath 1642 square foot condo in the 08 tier. This unit featured an open kitchen & breakfast bar, renovated bathrooms, two huge master bedrooms suites plus a 3rd bedroom. There is an in unit washer/dryer plus extra storage and new high efficiency windows. The condo comes with one garage parking space.

In 2017, the least expensive condo sold for $282,000.  This was a 816 square foot condo on the 12th floor with a balcony looking over N Park Avenue.  Another unit sold for $289,000. This was a 799 square foot condo on the first floor with a private patio, parking and a $575 monthly condo fee.  Another first floor one bedroom unit (823 square feet) sold in 2017 for $316,000 with a monthly condo fee of $734.   A remodeled penthouse unit sold for $769,000. That unit had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, 1411 square feet of space and came with 2 parking spaces.  The most expensive unit to sell in 2017 was a three bedroom two bath unit on the 14th floor.  1406 W sold for $841,000 in March 2017 and had two parking spaces. Its condo fee was $1667 a month.

At the end of  2021, there were 5 homes on the market in 4620 N Park, ranging in price from $400,000 for a one bedroom one bath 799 square foot condo on the 9th floor with a condo fee of $805.73 to a  2 bedroom 2 bath condo with 1373 square feet listed for $799,000.  The condo fee for that unit is $1197.44.  There is one unit under contract, which listed for $365,000.  It has 816 square feet of living space and a condo fee of $864.

The least expensive unit that sold was on the 9th floor with 799 square feet and a condo fee of $757.  It sold for $289,500 in May.  The condo fee included two parking spaces across the street at the Elizabeth condos. Another one bedroom with 799 square feet sold for $295,000 in July and a 845 square feet unit sold for $295,000 in February.  The most expensive unit to sell in 2021 at 4620 N Park was a 1610 square foot 2 bedroom 2 and a half bath condo that sold for $905,000.  That unit, 1207W, has a condo fee of $1529.06.

Size of Units at 4620 N Park

The smallest condos at 4620 North Park Condominiums are a spacious 799 square feet for the one bedroom one bath units, found in 01 tier and then 816 square feet in the 02 and 11 tiers. Larger one bedrooms in the 10 tier are 845 square feet of space. The 08 tier is still a one bedroom but with a bath and a half and over 1000 square feet of space. The 04 tier is 1316 square feet and two bedrooms and two full baths. If you want large – then you should look for the 07 and 05 tiers with 1600 feet of living space and three bedrooms and one and a half baths. There is a very friendly 24 hour front desk and controlled entry. Other amenities include the outdoor pool and patio area, sauna, exercise room, library, media room, and party room.

Pet Policy

If you are allergic to pet dander or have an aversion to dogs and want peace and quiet in the elevator, then this is the place for you. 4620 North Park condominiums welcome cats but not dogs.  The building allows rentals, but tenants may not have pets.

Condo Fees

In 2017 fees ranged from $575 for the smaller one bedroom to $1667 for the largest 3 bedroom 2 and a half bath units.  The condo fee includes all utilities (gas, electric, water and sewer, heat and air conditioning, basic cable tv, common area maintenance and exterior building maintenance, on site management, the party room, exercise room, out door pool, security, snow removal, trash removal, and master insurance.

At the end of 2021, condo fees for a one bedroom 799 square foot unit were approximately $757 to $775 a month and $885 for a one bedroom 885 square foot unit.  Of course, fees vary if there is a parking space (or two).  The three bedroom largest units (1809 square feet) have a condo fee of close to $1900 a month and the 1600 square foot unit has a condo fee of approximately $1525.

Grocery shopping is readily available at the new Whole Foods on Willard Avenue and at the Amazon on Western Avenue, about a half mile away. Friendship Heights is like the Rodeo Drive of Washington with Cartier, Tiffany, Ralph Lauren, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Brooks Brothers all within sight of each other and only a short mile stroll to downtown Bethesda north along Wisconsin Avenue.. Metro access is available at the Friendship Heights metro stop.

Children living here attend Somerset Elementary, Westland Middle, and Bethesda Chevy Chase High School.  There are approximately 2,000 students enrolled at  B-CC. Students come from more than 55 countries.  Approximately 75 percent of students go on to attend a four-year college; 20 percent attend a two-year college.

B-CC has been participating in the International Baccalaureate Program since 1996. The program provides students a liberal arts, interdisciplinary education leading to a diploma recognized throughout the world.
