In late 2021, there is a two bedroom one bath condo with 873 square feet of space on the market for $315,000 and a four bedroom two and a half bath unit with 1340 square feet for $419,900. The condo fee for the two bedroom unit is $611 and the four bedroom unit is $903 a month, including all utilities. Like everywhere else, prices have increased at West Spring Condos. In the fall of 2019 there was a three bedroom condo on the market for $275,000 with a condo fee of $799! The then owner was even willing to sell two covered parking spaces for $10,000 each. Two years later, a three bedroom two bath unit sold in August 2021 with 1208 square feet for $300,000. The condo fee was $811.

There are a variety of sizes of units at West Spring Condominiums. Studios starting at 525 square feet, 1 bedroom with one bath, 2 bedroom with one bath and two bedroom two bath floor plans are there your for choosing. Some of the larger units are 1403 square feet – which gives you an astonishing amount of space for the money.

You also are very close to Cabin John Park, a great place to explore or ride the mini train. Cabin John Park is also home to a county ice skating rink where my daughter spent many happy hours placing ice hockey and learning to figure skate. The nearest county golf course is on Falls Road in Potomac.

When you live at West Spring Condominiums, your monthly fee includes electricity, gas, heat and air conditioning, a master insurance policy, lawn maintenance, management, snow removal, trash removal, water and sewer. All you have to pay for besides your mortgage is your internet/cable service and phone, and taxes and your home owner insurance. In addition there is a move in fee.
Condo fees do go up each year. Sometimes the increase is big and sometimes it is small. For example, the two bedroom two bath unit with 1083 square feet had a condo fee of $780 a month in 2017. In September 2019 the three bedroom unit with 1200 square feet had a condo fee of $799. By late 2021, a two bedroom one bath unit with 873 square feet had a condo fee of $611 monthly and a 1203 square foot unit had a fee of $811.
