The forty two townhomes were built in 1983 to provide the owners with lots of living space and balconies on two levels. The two models
of townhomes range from 1235 square feet for the two master bedroom model to 1491 square feet with three bedrooms. Both models have a bonus room on the main level that serves as a guest room or home office. Terraces and balconies offer outdoor space and room for grilling in the summer and al fresco dining.
Kitchens and baths are spacious and may have been recently updated, depending on the current owner.
Condo Fee
In 2016, the condo fee at the Lakeshore Townhomes Condominiums was $273 for the 1235 square foot condo townhome and $321 for the 1491 square foot townhome. The condo fee includes exterior maintenance, snow removal, and the master insurance policy. In 2021, the condo fee for a three bedroom 1235 square foot townhome was $297.80 and $350 for the 1491 square foot home, not much of an increase in 5 years!
Schools for Lakeshore Townhouse Condos
Children who live at Whitley Park attend Ashburton Elementary, North Bethesda Middle School and
Walter Johnson High School. Georgetown Prep, a well regarded Catholic high school, is just a few blocks away on the Rockville Pike and Stone Ridge School for girls is just a few blocks south on the Rockville Pike.
If you want to take your children to swim, you will love how close the Bethesda Aquatic Center is on Executive Boulevard. Year round ice skating and hockey are available at the Cabin John Iceskating Rink. My daughter learned to figure skate there and then switched to ice hockey. It is a great facility! One of the Bethesda libraries, with a wonderful children’s section, is just a mile away on Democracy Boulevard.

In 2019 3 bedroom (1235 square foot) units sold for $429,000 and $387,000. In 2020 only one 3 bedroom unit sold – for $400,000. In 2021, two of the same sized unit sold for $434,000. In 2019, a four bedroom unit sold for $435,000 but a similar sized unit sold in 2021 for $475,000.
